This blog is about sharing with you what I have learned over many years about ways to avoid harm and waste. I also offer consulting services to help customers think clearly about processes and behaviors that may cause harm or waste. Thinking is only the first step. The second step involves acting in ways that make positive, sustainable change a likely outcome. Examples include avoiding a harm event, untangling a complex process, or doing away for good with a wasteful and repetitive behavior. Last but not least is putting in place safeguards to prevent regressing to undesirable levels of performance.
